The BUG VAG was founded in 1990 and in fact of a steady increase of our business we have now round about 400 employees. Our main Business activities are concentrated in the area of all types of track construction and renovation, civil engineering projects, cable laying and installation, level crossing and premises.

These services will be supported by competent specialists and logistic. Our experience in this area and the know-how in Communication- and electro-techniques enable us to offer complete solutions based on our principle "all in one hand".

The competence of our skilled worker and engineering specialists is highly appreciated by public customer and Deutsche Bundesbahn AG.

The motivation of our staff and a modern equipment enable us to fulfil the orders in time and with highest quality. This includes variations and a 24h-stand-by-service to eliminate averages.

    Obtaining certification to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 from both Gütezert and Überwachungsgemeinschaft Gleisbau (Track Construction Monitoring Association)

    Attainment of the Pre-qualification proof for the field track-laying (Ballast Permanent Way) and Switch-laying (Ballast Permanent Way) in the area of Guiding Speed Range 1 (>230 km/h) from the Pre-qualification-Office of Deutsche Bundesbahn AG.

    Gaining pre-qualification for Deutsche Bahn AG's general civil engineering-earthworks division (subsoil / cable routing systems / supply and disposal lines)

    Establishing a branch in Ulm/Senden to conduct business in southern Germany and the neighbouring countries
  • 2006
    Establishing a branch in Dresden
  • 2007
    Establishing a branch in Poznan (Poland)
  • 2008
    BUG has a fully-owned subsidiary (FBB Elektroanlagen & Bahnstrom GmbH) which obtained comprehensive approval for the installation of traction power systems in 2008

    Expanding the range of services with the new welding division, and obtaining the relevant approval

    Acquisition of BUG 's largest project to date "Dessau-Roßlau rail junction"
